How often should be the Hair Boto-x Treatment repeated?

Hair Boto-x treatment will treat your hair for 3- 5 months. At average is it  solid 3 or 4 months. After that, it’s recommended to get the treatment redone. Remember, to make the treatment last longer, use the full range of Cocochoco aftercare products, especially Sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners, plus the Cocochoco hair mask 1-2 times a week. Also follow Cocochoco’s general recommendations and advices.

What is the difference between Hair Boto-x and Keratin Treatment? 

Hair boto-x treatment is formulated to eliminate frizz and rebuild the hair and make it younger looking. Chosen ingredients- proteins, amino acids, vitamins, and lipids will ensure perfect regeneration your hair follicles. It is also an anti-ageing treatment, active substances act like a filler, by filling in any gaps in the hair fibres, leaving it silky, shiny, and more youthful-looking.

Please note! Your hair will not become straight, it’s not as strong as Keratin Treatment. Keratin Treatment is anadvanced process that provides your hair with a healthy, shiny and silky look. The application is based on Keratin which is the primary protein of skin, hair and nails. Keratin is a natural substance that gives your hair the ability to improve the texture, condition, and elasticity of your hair. Hair will stay straight and frizz free up to 4 months depending on original hair condition.

Summary: The main difference between these two treatments is that keratin treatment is for straightening and fully eliminating frizz, designed for people who like very straight hair with a significant reduction of volume. Hair Boto-x is for restoring, nourishing and taming frizz, for anyone who’s hair is very damaged, over-processed, thin in structure and in need of deep restoration.

Application:

1. Wash your hair thoroughly with Step 1 deep clarifying shampoo – apply, and leave on your hair for 3-5 minutes, then rinse off.
2. Towel-dry hair and lightly blow-dry until it’s around 60-70% wet.
3. Apply the treatment with the silicone brush, strand by strand, 1-1.5 cm awayfrom the roots.
4. Leave the treatment on the hair for 20-30 minutes. Exposing time depends upon the condition of your hair and the degree of damage.
5. Dry your hair completely with a warm blow-dryer and comb it through.
6. Polish hair with a flat iron at a temperature between 190 and 220 degrees Celsius. The temperature setting depends on the condition of your hair – more damage requires a lower setting, and virgin/brunette/curly hair needs a higher heat. Take strands 1 cm thick at an angle of 90 degrees to the scalp. It is recommended to use a heat-resistant comb. Go over each section 4-6 times depending on original hair condition. (more damages less times)
7. After 24 hours wash any residue from the hair with Cocochoco sulphate free shampoo and conditioner.

How to treat your hair after the application of Hair Boto-x?

For the first 24 hours after the treatment:

• Do not wash your hair for 24 hours
• Don’t bend or tie your hair 
• Do not cover your head
• Use hair straightener occasionally in the morning if your hair curl/ freeze because of sleep
• In case of hair gets wet or absorb to much moisture, blow dry it quickly and straighten.

To make the treatment effect last longer we recommend using Cocochoco professional sulphate free shampoo (Sulphate will wash out Boto-x from the hair very quickly). Wash your hair as often as you need. After every wash apply Cocochoco professional conditioner, this conditioner is silicone- free (conditioners with silicone will damage coating created by melting Botox product). After wash blast blow dry your hair for better effects. Try not to use styling products with alcohol. In addition once a week you can use Cocochoco professional hair mask. It makes hair extra smooth, soft, shiny and healthy.
